Dead Lake Calendars are available and can still be purchased at the following locations:  Franks’ Lodge, Star Lake; Wagon Wheel, Richville; Ken’s Tackle, Ottertail; The Lodge, Ottertail; Lakeside Market, Ottertail; Rumors, Amor; Kimp’s Kamp, Troje’s Horseshoe Shores Resort, Sunset Bay Resort and Woodland Resort, all on Dead Lake.

The calendars cover the months of September, 2009 through January, 2011 and are full of pictures and interesting information.  19 photographers entered 41 pictures in a contest for selection in the calendar.  The cost of the calendars are $10 each with all proceeds going toward scholarships for environmental projects by middle and senior high school students in Otter Tail County.  The DLA Education Standing Committee spearheaded this project.  Click to see top cover:  DLA Calendar-Top

• The Fergus Falls Journal published a nice article regarding the dedication of the Dead Lake Wildlife Management Area.
